In the first 32 years of my life, I was in The Netherlands where I have been teaching, training, and mentoring written and spoken Dutch to all skill levels. Hi, my name is Frans and I'm a Dutch national. I studied science at the Leeuwenborgh institute in sittard, and I'm TEFL certified. Currently I live in Thailand and work here as a professional teacher. I teach kindergarten, primary school and secondairy school. Due to my experience with children, I know how important it is to have some fun during the lessons without losing focus on the language to learn. I'm easy going and patient. Hi! My name is Rignald and I am an online Dutch teacher. I am a Dutch native speaker currently living in Florence, Italy. I have a Master of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. Learning foreign languages has always been my biggest passion. I have been teaching online for the past seven years for several language schools using different teaching platforms. I have had students from all over the world with different starting levels and objectives. My teaching approach, which is fully tailored based on the student's level and needs, is comparable to that of a child learning how to speak, meaning that the student learns grammatical rules by reading simple texts. Oral exercises play a key role during my lessons as they allow the student to achieve the correct pronunciation, and, as a consequence, to comprehend the spoken language faster.
