So you want to learn the Dutch of Belgium (= Flemish)? Maybe you've found the love of your life in Belgium. Or you want to move to the Flemish part of Belgium for job opportunities. Or you're already living here and want to get more involved in the local life. Or you just like how the language sounds and want to master it.
No matter why you want to learn the Dutch of Belgium, I'm eager to help you. My linguistic Bachelor's and Master's degree will help me in the process of helping you, while at the same time keeping it informal and fun :)
At this moment, I'm only giving lessons to two types of students:
1) Complete beginners. For you, I made a full self-paced video course. Concretely you will be using that course as learning material (at a discounted price) and in our live lessons, we will go through your questions, check your progress and put your newly acquired knowledge into practice. Book a trial lesson to discuss more.
2) Advanced students with a strong foundation in Dutch. I want to make it more interesting for you and myself, so we will be learning about 'non-violent communication', also called 'compassionate communication' and practicing it in Dutch. Concretely you will be doing live translations of texts about NVC, coming from a beginner course I did. Instant translation is an advanced practice in language learning, and useful to enhance your ability to really think in Dutch and express yourself freely.
Then each time when having a basic understanding of one of the components of NVC, we will put it into practice in Dutch. This might be a bit unusual, and that's why I'm suggesting it :)
