About my classes 😊
In our lesson, we’ll either choose a topic together or dive into a random one, allowing the conversation to flow naturally. To make it more engaging, we’ll use pictures, texts, and other materials to spark discussion. Along the way, you’ll expand your vocabulary related to the topic, which I’ll note down for you and include in the day’s lesson notes. At the end of the session, we’ll reflect on the conversation, highlighting areas for improvement, as well as the progress and strengths you’ve demonstrated.
Don’t hesitate to jump into the conversation! Speaking is the key to mastering the language, and I’ll be here to guide you through each step. Mistakes are more than welcome—they’re the best way to learn and solidify your knowledge!
About me 😊
My name is Matteo, and I’m a native Italian speaker with 4 years of experience teaching Italian online. I’ve had the pleasure of helping over 300 students improve their Italian skills.
In addition to teaching, I’m passionate about languages myself. I speak English, Spanish and French. I’m also an avid reader, especially of novels and self-development books. Traveling and exploring different cultures are some of my greatest joys—and of course, I love great food!

Each student has a personal folder where all class materials are uploaded for self-review, including a new working page from every lesson that tracks vocabulary learned. Additional homework is also provided to reinforce learning, which can be checked at the student's request in the next class.
I also create a personalized notebook to track your progress from our first lesson and send homework for each topic we cover. Homework can be reviewed at the start of the next lesson to assess whether to move forward or reinforce the topic further.
No-show policy: I will wait for you for 15 minutes, if you don't show up without giving further notice I will consider the lesson completed. Thank you for understanding! :)
