Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Dobry den! My name is Landis. I am a certified TEFL teacher with a certificate in teaching Business English and have been an English teacher for more than 6 years. I will provide all the necessary materials for each lesson. I am experienced in teaching writing, public speaking, presentation skills, grammar, listening, conversation and I adapt to each student's needs and will provide the type of lesson that the student is looking for. I started my ESL teaching journey in South Korea teaching children and teens 5-16 in the classroom and then moved to online teaching and private one-on-one lessons with children and adults. My previous life before teaching English was working in the museum world in archaeology and fashion history and I have a wide variety of interests. I love traveling and have lived in Spain, England, South Korea and the Czech Republic but originally from North Carolina, U.S.A. I prefer a laid back, natural teaching style based in conversation. Conversation and listening can often be the trickiest parts of learning a language and the more technical parts of English can be learned and refined through immersion and conversation and provides the student with a natural way to learn and improve English. I also teach Business English and will focus on any area the student needs (writing correspondence, participating in meetings, note-taking, report writing, professional conversations, etc.) I look forward to meeting you soon and joining you on your English learning adventure!
