Hello, I am a native English speaker (British) and have over 11 years of teaching experience. I am Celta and Delta qualified and am a trained Cambridge speaking examiner. I have lots of experience with general and business English at all ages and levels. I have taught monolingual and multilingual classes in many different countries including Ecuador, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Australia. I am bilingual, I speak Spanish fluently. I studied French and German at school and have picked up some Portuguese over the years. I am currently learning Italian. My teaching demeanor is friendly, calm, professional and patient. I have a wide range of interests including: travelling, cooking, photography, psychology, philosophy, science, politics, health and fitness. I tailor my lessons so that they reflect my students' needs, wants and interests. I have been teaching for over ten years, and achieved my second TEFL qualification in 2007. I have since taken other courses and seminars to develop myself as a better ESL teacher I believe classes should be an enjoyable time for both teacher and student to enable the best learning environment. I keep my passion alive for teaching by constantly looking for new and fun material for classes. I am also a language learner, of Spanish, so I understand and empathise with doubts, fears and barriers in speaking in a second language. I have been working as an English teacher for 11 years full- time. I have also taught Spanish and French. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of California in Language and worked with the United States Peace Corps as an English teacher and with the Cambridge School system. Hello, my name is Oakley and I am an American currently enjoying living and teaching English in the Philippines. I have worked at a BPO company and a Marketing firm in the Philippines teaching call representatives Listening skills, American Accent training, Writing and Pronunciation.
