I am from Taiwan. I've been teaching Mandarin for more than a year now. I will use this experience to help customize your lessons based on your goal and the outcome you want to achieve.
Before the class, we can discus your aims and what you want to improve on such as; grammar, daily conversation and culture (which I am very good at).
I will give you feedback after each class (what we have learned and any additional points from the class that I believe may benefit you) and send it to you, you can use this as a side-note or as homework to further improve.
As a language learner, I definitely know the struggles and difficulties of learning from a text book. Using what is learnt in daily conversation is totally different (mainly the pronunciation of the words). But I also know the joyful feeling when you finally achieve your goal in language learning!
So I am here to help you so you can see your progress in learning Mandarin.
