Hi Everyone!
My name is Stacey. I was born in Taiwan and grew up in Los Angeles. I consider my native language to be English and thanks to my mother and three years of living and teaching in Taiwan, I am also fluent in Chinese Mandarin. I love both languages and their culture and can’t wait to share them with all of you.
First, it’s important to understand what you want to achieve. You are a complete beginner? You want to improve your grammar?h Hope to reduce your accent? or you want to polish your skills for traveling, school or work. Whatever your goal may be, I am able to help you.
I think learning a language should be fun and personalized. I like to develop fun and creative lessons base on your needs and that will keep you interested and excited to learn more.
I have recently started learning Italian so I know how intimidating and frustrating it can be. Even if It may seem like you’re understanding what you’re reading but when it comes to speaking it’s too hard to put sentences together and carry on an actual conversation. During your lesson with me, you will feel safe and comfortable to make mistakes. I will patiently provide gentle corrections and suggestions to help you improve throughout each lesson and I will give you plenty of speaking time for practice. The key is to SPEAK SPEAK SPEAK and PRACTICE!!
