Hi! My name is Liz,
I teach from beginner to advanced students. I focus on conversational classes allowing students to gain confidence speaking English with a native speaker.
I also specialize in editing papers, documents or presentations to ensure they are grammatically correct and sound as natural as possible. I have lots of experience with interview preparation.
I will adjust classes to best fit your language needs, we can focus on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, and accent reduction.
I love discussing a variety of topics in my classes, from work experiences, government, cooking, health care, hobbies, traveling, and much more.
I currently work in health research. I earned a bachelor's degree from a high ranking research university in the US. I graduated May of 2019. I am planning to start an masters program in 2022.
I earned the TEFL certificate in November of 2019. In college, I spent two years teaching English to Adults who immigrated to the US. I have been teaching on Verbling for almost 2 years.

Held an independent position as I was teaching my own class of 6-10 students at the lowest level of English in the program. I built close friendships with the students despite the undeniable language barrier between us. I also developed a greater ability to work with individuals of a culture I was quite unfamiliar with previously.
