Hi! My name is Liz,
I teach from intermediate to advanced students. I focus on conversational classes allowing students to gain confidence speaking English with a native speaker.
With a professional background in health research in the United States, I have special experience helping students who want to start their careers in the US.
I also specialize in editing papers, documents, and presentations for school or work to ensure they are grammatically correct and sound as natural as possible. I have lots of experience with interview preparation.
Additionally, I can assist you with university applications, drawing from my graduate degree obtained from an Ivy League university (Cornell University). This firsthand experience equips me to guide students through the complicated and competitive college applications.
I earned the TEFL certificate in November of 2019. In college, I spent two years teaching English to Adults who immigrated to the US. I have been teaching on Verbling for 4 years.
I will adjust classes to best fit your language needs, we can focus on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, and accent reduction.
