Hello,
I am from London and have been teaching OET for over 5 years. I am CELTA qualified. Also, I have a degree in American Studies (history based) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Adult Nursing from Kings College London. I was a nurse in London for the NHS and for a private hospital.
My focus is OET/Healthcare job interviews/PLAB 2 and I only teach in these areas now, hence my prices. I have stopped offering free trials, as recently students are missing their trials or not reading my profile beforehand to see I do not teach general English only OET and medical English. I’m Kevin Palmer.
in 2002, at my first teaching job, I had a student named Ning. Ning was wonderful. She was intelligent, friendly, and she worked hard. Every day she studied English textbooks for 4 hours! She tried to remember 50 new vocabulary words every day!
But, after 6 months of hard work, she still could not speak. Sadly, this was true for all of the students in the class. I felt terrible. So I asked other teachers for help. But they had the same problem.. very few of their students improved either. That’s when I realized something was wrong– something is wrong with normal English teaching methods.
