Hi, I'm Arthur, a Brazilian-Italian language teacher who currently lives in Ottawa, Canada, with my wife. I started teaching languages in 2013 during college, and since then I have been teaching children, adolescents, and adults. I am a certified Brazilian Portuguese teacher to foreigners and a heritage (near-native) speaker of Italian, which I also teach. I am particularly interested in accent reduction and pronunciation, and I often draw parallels between the languages the students already know through comparative grammar. I have experience teaching native English, Spanish, Italian, and French speakers, and I can teach directly in the target language or mix it with another language which the student knows better, whenever possible.
