Hello there! My name is Akira and I am a TEFL accredited and qualified instructor. My specialty includes conversational English as well as grammar. I have two degrees in the medical field and I am currently pursuing my third degree in the field of pharmacy. If this intrigues you, we’re bound to have some extremely stimulating conversations! My teaching style is highly interactive and I feel that the best way to learn a new language is by integrating it into your daily conversation. My sessions are flexible and will be customized to suit your abilities, pace, and interests.
I enjoy teaching students of various age groups. Previously, I privately tutored students in primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of study in my beautiful and multicultural country, South Africa. I have also been an Academic Mentor and Anatomy Demonstrator at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal; currently, I am a Peer Wellness Mentor at the aforementioned university. These positions have enabled me to assist students academically and emotionally, thus allowing me to holistically cater to students.
