Hi, my name is Priscila, I am from Mexico and I’m 28 years old. I speak Spanish, English and a little Chinese. I have a bachelor degree in Pedagogy , I’ve taken Professional Development curses in my own country and abroad, among them a course for teachers in Cervantes Institute. I’ve worked in different schools around 8 years, teaching different levels since 3 year old kids up to 50 year old adults.
My lesson plans are adapted according to the needs of each student, but they are planned under the following structure: warm-up, new topic presentation, practicing activities and feedback, which all of them are focused on giving you the opportunity to use the new language all the time.
I like cooking, practicing yoga and right now I’m learning sing language, but one of the things I really like is traveling, I’ve visited 18 countries around the world, I always try to get to know about the culture and the people from each place I go.
I believe cultural awareness is so important when it comes to understanding my students who likely hail from different backgrounds. During my classes you can expect to have a dynamic, open, interesting engaged and respectful environment.
