ABOUT ME :

Hi, my name is Lucas and I'm 28 years old. My native languages are both French and German, and I grew up speaking both languages at home. I also have dual citizenship.
I started working as an online language tutor in 2015 and obtained a CELTA teaching certificate in 2018.
I now live and work in Seoul.

Over the years, I became more and more familiar with learning methods and the difficulties involved with language learning. I also realized that the most progress I made was when I had conversations with people in order to practice speaking and listening. Doing that allowed me to reach such a high English level. I am now doing the same with Japanese, Chinese and Korean.


ABOUT MY LESSONS :

As your teacher, I can talk with you about any topic you like (politics, geography, languages, history, world news, ...), help with homework, read articles or texts together, watch videos together and discuss them, correct your speech and pronunciation on the go and help with your listening skills. I can adapt myself to your level, by speaking slower, more clearly and using easier grammar and words.
Also, thanks to my high English level, I can explain and translate things into English if they are too hard to understand.


I also offer formal lessons based on textbooks (Alter Ego + series) for levels ranging from beginner to upper-intermediate.
