How to improve your vocabulary.

My tips for improving your vocabulary:
1. Learn new words in context, in a more natural way than remembering word lists.
2. Read for at least 10 minutes EVERY DAY. It’s important to choose something you enjoy but it’s also good to read a variety of different texts. Reading while listening to the audio version is excellent too. Check out the Blinkist app for short texts with audio.
3. Write new words in a vocabulary notebook or create flash cards to test yourself with later. Vocabulary notebooks can include the definition, example sentences, different uses, the translation, a picture for visual learners, and anything else you think would help you remember.
4. Use a thesaurus to find synonyms for new and old words.
5. Create a vocabulary box. Write new words on pieces of paper every day and at the end of each week, choose a few from the box and create sentences or explain the meaning. This could be done as a game with friends who are also learning English.
6. Use it or lose it! You need to USE new words repeatedly if you want to remember them.
I hope these tips help you with your vocabulary!
