Los mil significados de "pedo" en español mexicano

Cada país, cada región, cada persona tiene su manera particular de usar el lenguaje. En México tenemos algunas palabras a las que les hemos otorgado significados diferentes de los que podríamos leer el el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española, una de ellas es "pedo".

El DRAE, sí incluye las definiciones de pedo como fiesta, borrachera o borracho (https://dle.rae.es/?id=SJF2rm9); algunos ejemplos de estos usos son "salió pedísimo", "qué buena peda la de anoche" y "agarra el pedo cada viernes".

Otras frases comunes son estas:
  • ¿Qué pedo? = ¿Cómo estás?, ¿qué tal?
  • Buen pedo = alguien buena onda = alguien agradable
  • Mal pedo = alguien mala onda = alguien desagradable
  • Al pedo = atento
Estas expresiones se emplean en contextos informales, por lo general, entre amigos. Muchos hogares mexicanos no permitirían que se usaran dentro de casa.
