Hello, after graduating I decided to see the world. I travelled and worked my way around the globe for 15 years, but that all came to an end in 2015 when I fell in love with the sweet Mexican girl. I moved to Mexico, became a teacher and discovered that I love teaching. Besides teaching 2000 online classes, I also have years of experience of teaching in schools and I have been trained in teaching NT2 by the university of Leuven. I adjust my classes to the needs of my students. For beginners, I use a structured approach with a emphasis on speaking and communication. But if you are preparing for an exam, job interview or are mainly interested in improving your communication skills, the classes will take on a very different form. I´m looking forward to working with you.

I teach because it is fun. At secondary school, my friends asked me to help them with math and economics. I started teaching Dutch as a student at university. My pupils were usually business school students. Later on, I moved to a different university, in Nijmegen, and taught subjects like environmental economics, history and Dutch language. After finishing another project at the university, I decided to start my own IT company. As a company owner, I do projects for companies all over the world, including the department of Languages and Cultures at the University of London. Currently, I spend approximately half of my time as a language teacher and half of my time as an IT expert. I have also been working as a voluntary language teacher at a local organization in my city, which helps immigrants to start a new life in their new home country. Hi, my name is Annelies. I'm originally from Belgium, Antwerp, but I've been living in Spain for more than 15 years. My native language is Dutch but I'm also fluent in English y Español ;). I've taught Dutch for more than 10 years at a Dutch school in Spain to children and adults and a few years online. Today I'm still active in the Dutch school and online where I mostly teach adults.
