I live in a beautiful small town near Chicago. I have taught English since 2013. I started in Europe for 4 1/2 years. I have taught in private language schools and in private lessons face to face and on Skype. My approach to teaching is practice practice practice!!! I am able to facilitate speaking tasks using proper grammar while building vocabulary related to students needs.

My students are already fluent. They come to me because something still isn't working and they've run out of explanations for why. I usually don't understand everything they say the first time. Not as a technique. I just don't. They have to find another way to say it. That's the lesson. I've been doing this for years. It still surprises me how effective this is at getting students to improve.
