I am from Costa Rica a country very popular to visit for its beautiful beaches and that is why in my free time I love to go to the beach with my friends, I love meeting fun people who like to socialize and share, I love watching movies on Netflix. I have been spending the past few years teaching Spanish as a second language to many people from around the world, and I am so glad to be apart of the Verbling teaching crew! In my lessons I would like to talk about any topic that is of interest to you, be it the family, places you have visited or the traditional foods from your country or from mine, thus covering informal conversation that allows us to see well what needs to be corrected. Hello! My name is Jahel, I am from Barcelona and I love teaching because I also like to learn. For several years I have dedicated myself to university teaching in the field of audiovisual language and for some time now, also to oral and verbal Spanish language. In my family there are several people who are dedicated to teaching Spanish, and that gives me the passion to learn other languages such as English, Italian or French, apart from Catalan. I am spaniard, from Valencia city at the Mediterranean cost. I moved in Canada 5 years ago and started to teach Spanish. I got the ELE certificate validated by The Cervantes Institute as I actually enjoyed by teaching and decided to make it my future career. I do 100% Spanish classes using enjoyable tools for the students have fun while learning. Specially for beginners some English support is required, so I do it.
