今天是二十四节气中的大暑（dàshǔ）
Todayis Dashu in twenty-four solar terms.
大暑，是农历二十四节气（jiéqì）中的第十二个节气。
Dashuis the 12th one in the twenty-four solar terms.

 
“大暑”一般从每年的7月22日-24日开始，
"Dashu"generally begins on July 22nd - 24th of each year,
“大暑”是一年中气温最高、农作物生长最快的时节，也是雷阵雨最多的时节。
“Dashu” is the seasonwith the highest temperature and the fastest growing crops in a year, and it isalso the time when thunderstorms are the most.
所以这个时节，既要做好抗旱保收的准备工作，也要预防洪涝灾害。
Therefore,at this time, we must do a good job in preparing for drought relief and preventionof floods.

 
【大暑三候】
Threephenomena of Dashu
①   腐草为萤（Fǔ cǎo wéi yíng）

 
“腐草”就是枯草的意思，“萤”就是萤火虫。大暑时节的夜晚，经常能看到萤火虫飞来飞去。萤火虫产卵是在落叶和枯草之间，盛夏时孵化而出，就好像萤火虫是枯草变化而成。
"腐草" means drygrass, and "萤" is firefly. On the night of the summer, you can oftensee fireflies flying around. Fireflies lay eggs between deciduous and hay,hatching out during the summer, just as fireflies are transformed from hay.

 ②  土润溽暑（Tǔ rùn rù shǔ） 

 
“土润溽暑”指土壤的湿度很高，天气闷热。大暑正好是三伏天中的“中伏”，即天气最热、最潮湿的时候。
“土润溽暑” means that thesoil has high humidity and the weather is hot. The heat is just the middle voltin the three volts, the hottest and wettest weather.

 ③  大雨时行（Dàyǔ shí xíng） 

 
大暑时节，湿热之气上升到高空遇冷，就会在午后突降雷阵雨。雨势大，但时间不长。下雨频繁，但范围较小。
During the summer heat season, the hotand humid gas rises to the high altitude and cools, and it will suddenly dropthunderstorms in the afternoon. The rain is big, but the time is not long. Itrains frequently, but the range is small.
