AUTUMN BUCKET LIST - DAY 4

ACCENDI UNA CANDELA IN CASA

Light a candle at home

ACCENDERE could be in Italian language the verb of both modernity and ancient tradition since you can translate it with
- TO TURN ON --> referring to modern devices
- TO LIGHT --> referring to the suggestive light of fire and candles

Present tense
IO ACCENDO
TU ACCENDI
LUI/LEI ACCENDE
NOI ACCENDIAMO
VOI ACCENDETE
LORO ACCENDONO

Imperative tense
ACCENDI (TU)
ACCENDETE (VOI)

My suggestion for today - according to this learning bucket list (PROJECT HERE) - is to light a candle while you're at home. That's something that let me feel the warmth of my comfort place, compared to the colder and colder weather outside, especially at night after a long day of studying, teaching, house keeping, family care and so on.... It's a moment of silence, peace and meditation about the energy I can put on reaching goals while enjoying the process!
Will you stop tonight in front of a candle light to celebrate the process of your learning (or teaching) a language?
If Italian is the language you're learning, then celebrate this moment with this Italian verb:
ACCENDI UNA CANDELA A CASA! ;-)
