رَغْمَ مَا عَانَتْهُ إبَّانَ الْحَرْب الْأَهْلِيَّةِ وَمَا زَالَتْ تُعَانِيهِ مِنْ إهْمَالٍ، تُصِرُّ مَسَاجِدُ بَيْرُوتَ التَّارِيخِيَّةُ عَلَى الْبَقَاءِ.
A pesar de que han sufrido durante la guerra civil y aún está sufriendo de abandono, mezquitas históricas en Beirut insiste en quedarse.
Although Beirut historical mosques had suffered during the civil war and continue to suffer of neglect, they insist to exist (still stand).
تَتَوَزَّعُ الْعَدِيدُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ الْأَثَرِيَّةِ وَسَطَ الْمَرْكَزِ التِّجَارِيِّ فِي الْعَاصِمَةِ اللُّبْنَانِيَّةِ بَيْرُوتَ، وَتُصِرُّ عَلَى الْبَقَاءِ وَالْحُضُورِ اللَّافِتِ بِمَبَانِيهَا وَمَآذِنِهَا رَغْمَ مَا اعْتَرَى بَعْضَهَا مِنْ خَرَابٍ جَرَّاءَ الْحَرْبِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ، لِتُضْفِيَ بِذَلِكَ رَوْنَقًا مِعْمَارِيًّا بَارِزًا لَكِنَّهُ يَشْكُو الْإهْمَالَ.
Muchas antiguas mezquitas se distribuyen a lo largo de la zona comercial del centro de la capital libanesa Beirut, y persisten en quedarse con su importante presencia y con sus edificios y los minaretes a pesar de lo ha ocurrido (agarrado) a algunos de ellos como unas devastaciones causadas por la guerra civil, así le dan (le añade) un prominente elegancia arquitectónica, pero (las mezquitas) se quejan de la negligencia.
many ancient mosques are distributed throughout downtown commercial area in the Lebanese capital Beirut, and they persist on staying with their significant presence with its buildings and minarets despite what gripped some of them with devastation caused by the civil war, thus, they give it a prominent architectural elegance but they complain of neglect.
بُنِيَتْ خَمْسَةُ مَسَاجِدَ أثَرِيَّةٍ فِي عُهُودٍ تَارِيخِيَّةٍ مُتَفَاوِتَةٍ مِنْ حَيْثُ الْقِدَمُ، لَكِنَّهَا تَقَعُ جَمِيعًا ضِمْنَ إطَارٍ جُغْرَافِيٍّ لَا يَتَعَدَّى كِيلُومِتْرًا مُرَبَّعًا وَسَطَ الْحَيِّ التِّجَارِيِّ فِي قَلْبِ بَيْرُوتَ.
Cinco mezquitas históricas antiguas fueron construidas en los períodos variados en términos de antigüedades, pero todas ellas están situadas dentro del marco geográfico que no exceda de un kilómetro cuadrado en el distrito central de negocios en el corazón de Beirut.
Five ancient historical mosques were built in the periods varying in terms of antiquities, but they are all located within geographic frame that does not exceed a square kilometer in the central business district in the heart of Beirut.
وَلِكُلِّ مُسْجِدٍ قِصَّةٌ وَحِكَايَةٌ وَقَسَمَاتٌ مُمَيِّزَةٌ، فَالْمَسْجِدُ الْعُمَرِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ ذُو الْعِمَارَةِ الْأَيُّوبِيَّةِ كَانَ فِي الْأَصْلِ مَعْبَدًا بَنَاهُ الإمْبرَاطُورُ فِيلِيبُ دُوهُورَان وَتَحَوَّلَ إلَى مَسْجِدٍ عَامَ 1187 عَلَى يَدِ جُنْدِ صَلَاحِ الدِّينِ. وَيُعَدُّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْأَكْبَرَ بَيْنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ الْخَمْسَةِ مِنْ حَيْثُ الْمَسَاحَةُ.
Para cada mezquita, hay una historia, cuento, y unas características distintivas, (por ejemplo) la gran mezquita Omari con la arquitectura ayyubí fue originalmente un templo construido por el emperador Felipe Dohoran y se convirtió en una mezquita en 1187 a manos de los soldados de Salahuddin’s, y se considera que es la más grande entre las cinco mezquitas en términos de área (que cubre).
For each mosque, there is a story and a distinctive characteristic, (for example) the big Omari mosque with the Ayyubid architecture was originally a temple built by the Emperor Philip Dohoran and turned into a mosque in 1187 at the hands of the Salahuddin’s soldiers, and it is considered to be the largest among the five mosques in terms of area (it covers).
