Encouraging students to interact: Student of the year gets a reward

A grammar question or a request for correction and feedback posted here by a student is an opportunity for us teachers to show our skills.

Unfortunately, very few students post questions that allow such mutual benefit. Those students who post questions, get free help from teachers! Why, then, don't students ask questions here more often? Are students shy to ask?

How can we encourage students to post questions that teachers can answer in the public forum, thus creating opportunities for teachers to show samples of their teaching skills?

Here is my suggestion:

If we could name a "Student of the year" and give him/her an award - say, a 5-free-lesson package (one with a different teacher in here), would that encourage students to participate more? That would in turn benefit us teachers by attracting new students.
