6 years agoIf you want to learn Arabic you have to have a clear objective. This determines what type of Arabic you should learn. If you're learning Arabic to understand the Quran, for example, then you should learn Classical Arabic. But if your sole purpose is communicate with Arabs, then, there's absolutely no need to learn Classical Arabic, and you should start learning a local dialect, directly.
