Discussion topic: The social credit system turns Orwell’s ‘1984’ into reality

We've already seen the erosion of liberties in the west, maybe no-one noticed, too busy looking at our gadgets and besides, the ability of governments to incarcerate, torture, sentence and drone strike people is only for "terrorists" and we're not terrorists so there is nothing to worry about. The beast system, coming to a "government" near you.
