5 years agoWe are given our name by our parents, when we are babies, which we have no involvement in and which then stays with us the rest of our lives.
When I was a child, I hated my name, Mary, because I thought it was old fashioned and I wished I could change it. Now as an adult, I like my name.
Possible meanings of "Mary" include bitter or rebellious.
