Do you think you can get to love the foreign language more than your mother tongue?

As we learn different languages, we tend to develop a different relationship with each of them. The learning process involves our mind, our goals and sometimes our feelings and emotions, but not always. Do you think you can get to develop a so strong emotion with the 2nd language that you can prefer it to your mother tongue?
