Sabías que en Perú se toma para el desayuno un equivalente al porridge británico? Lo llamamos quaker y es básicamente lo mismo pero con mucha más agua o leche, convirtiéndolo en una bebida. Todos hemos tomado quaker de niños en Perú!
El origen del nombre viene de la marca más popular de copos de avena que se comercializa en Perú: "Quaker". En esta famosa marca norteamericana se puede ver en el logo a un cuáquero. Siempre es interesante ver el origen de los elementos en una cultura.
