 It is true that Spanish  language belongs to the Romance language family, but it must be said that the Spanish language is also heavily influenced by the Arabic language since the Muslims conquered a large part of the Iberian Peninsula for almost 8 centuries. Are you able to say Spanish words that have Arabic origin?
