6 years agoJulian Treasure gives some great advice in this talk on how to speak so that people pay attention and listen, not to mention the vocal warm up exercises at the end.
He details the 7 Do Not's:
1. gossip
2. judge
3. be negative
4. complain
5. make excuses
6. lie
7. be dogmatic
And tells us to speak from HAIL:
Honesty
Authenticity
Integrity
Love
I think his advice crosses over into other parts of our lives too. What do you think?
