I hope everything goes well for you.

Hello!
When writing a letter I am tempted to say, "I hope everything goes well for you." Is it correct or I need to say,  "I hope everything's going well for you."? Why?
"Dear Anna,
Thanks for your letter. How are you doing? I hope everything goes well for you."
