You should say
What the team was
When you joined
What you did
And explain how you felt about being a member of the team
WHAT : this is important because the choice of team will dictate the language you will use. Choose carefully.
When : look at a time frame and think in terms of the year, the month ... and maybe even the season.
What you did : Here, brainstorm verbs and idioms linked to verbs such as "we burnt the midnight oil" which means that you stayed up till late working at the task
