Il maestro Alberto Manzi: CELEBRATING A CHAMPION OF INCLUSION

Alberto Manzi has been a school teacher, a writer and an Italian television host known mostly for being the art director of the “Non è mai troppo tardi“ (It’s never too late) TV show broadcast between 1959 and 1968. The program was conceived as an auxiliary help in the social struggle against analphabetism. The TV program was broadcasting real life primary school classroom lessons, with revolutionary concepts in didactic methods for those times.
Manzi also was screenwriter and director, prison teacher, for almost 40 years school teacher, teacher between illiterate indios and campesinos in South America, teacher of Italian for immigrants. We all are indebted to thank Maestro Manzi for what he has taught and for leaving us important thoughts and messages. I celebrete this great, great man. He has left, from his extraordinary life, a priceless wealth of knowledge.
