Is reading e-books a good way to learn English?

Heya everyone,

I'm a Verbling English conversation teacher! I know everyone wants fun and easy ways to learn English faster while they're not in class.

Reading English is a great way to practice outside of class, and I've even heard that listening to English in the background - whether it's a podcast, a youtube video, or music - is a fantastic way to speed up your learning.📰📚🎧 📺 

My question is, do you like to read e-books in English as a way to speed up your learning?
And do you read lifestyle e-books that give tips on learning English faster or better?
Do you think these are good strategies? 

I do. And as an English conversation teacher myself, I've been thinking of writing an e-book for English learners full of tips and tricks on exciting ways to learn English better and faster.
