Issues with email notifications for lesson requests

Hello everyone, 

has anybody faced issues regarding email notifications for lesson requests?  A few minutes ago I received an email saying that there was an issue with my lesson and when I logged in, I found that there was a lesson that was missed.  I've checked my email and refreshed it a few times to make sure and there was no notification regarding a lesson request.  I only have an email about the class being missed.  

Has anyone else faced an issue with email notifications from Verbling?
