Madrid Gran Via during lockdown - the new normal?

Once bustling with people, Madrid's Gran Via has become peaceful and silent. 
I like it! Do you think it would be a good idea to regularly have lockdowns? Many news articles have noted the benefits of it. Will lockdowns become a thing? What do you think?
