My favourite quotation of all time: Nothing new under the Sun
4 years agoWhat is your favourite quotation of all time?
This one phrase seems to surface in my mind on daily basis. I guess it's because I like history. Each day I become more convinced that there are no really new ideas at all. There may be re-combinations, but using elements that are ultimately long lasting and never truly new. In a society addicted to newness, I value original material. Time has a way of discarding things of little value, things that are well-made will stand the test of time.
