tip over / overtip

A little ‘tip’ from class today...

The phrasal verb ‘tip over’ means to cause something to fall to one side:
She accidentally tipped the glass of milk over.

To ‘overtip’ is to give too much money as a tip in a restaurant:
I gave the waiter £20. I was confused with the currency. I think I overtipped him!

And that’s just the ‘tip of the iceberg’!

Do you know some other uses of this little word ‘tip’?
