To learn a language can make you achieve your dreams?

Hello everyone!
I am a new Spanish Tutor around here and I have a question for you: Do you think that you can achieve your dreams by learning a new language?
I do!
Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to sing and play the drums, I was also very curious about people. The way they behaved, the way they moved, their gestures, everything!
My mom used to tell me: "Don't stare to people is not a good manner"... Time went by and I discovered why I was so interested in human behaviour, I became a journalist and I was always trying to find the truth and a story tell.
I was really always into music so thanks to it I could improve my English. I wanted to understand what they were saying and sing along. Then it happened that I wanted to know the truth about celebrities myself, not what other people said about them.
Thanks to speaking English (even not perfect) I could achieve most of my biggest dreams: be a journalist for Rolling Stone and other media, and to interview people from different cultures in English. Also learning another language brought me the best friends ever and the best stories in my life.
So, I understand how it feels to listen to the sound and not be able to reproduce the pronunciation "accurately", the excitement of speaking for the first time to someone from a different culture and the anxiety when you make a mistake jajaja but let me tell you everything is worth it! I will tell you the stories behind this facts...
In my humble opinion, yes, to learn another language makes you achieve your dreams... The next story will be about Tim Burton and why English helped me achieve that dream.
Thanks for reading and replying!
