Use Netflix to improve your Spanish

I want to share with you all a strategy that's helped me improve my English and my Portuguese and that I am sure will help you improve your Spanish or any foreign language you are learning.
Pick a Spanish show on Netflix, must be something that you like and you enjoy. Then watch it with the original Spanish audio and with Spanish subtitles. Your brain will start associating the words and the sounds, you'll learn from native speakers in "real" situations.
Also, Netflix has an amazing plus: if you're not sure about the meaning of something, go back and change the language to English or to your native language, and then you'll be learning a new expression. When I do this I have my language journal and a pen close to hand so I can write down the expression in the language I'm studying and its meaning in my native language.
