What do you think about podcasts as a method of learning languages?

Hi Guys!

My name is Dominika and I'm really crazy about learning languages ;) I wanted to ask you if you think podcasts are a good way of doing it?? I’ve always liked listening exercises etc… I have a friend who’s a Polish teacher and she has her own website polskidaily, where she teaches Polish. She records a lot of podcasts for her students, on different levels. I think it might be a way to catch up quicker on vocab or some phrases, but do you know any good ones for me in English or Hebrew?
