What is Qixi ? (Chinese Valentines day ❤ ?)
3 years agoI recently attended a training course on Chinese festivals and traditions.
I was so impressed with some of the folk stories that gave birth to these amazing festivals still celebrated to this day.
One of the many celebrations that excited and intrigued me was Qixi ❤. I learned a short summary about the Jade Emperor and his daughter but I wasn't able to get the full story or concept behind the tale.
Can someone explain it to me or at least give me the jist of the story and what the importance and traditional festivities are behind Qixi ❤?
