When doing a speaking activity, do you prefer instant correction, or to discuss errors after the task?

Hello Everyone,
so what do you think? Instant correction is good because it interrupts you speaking in the moment and makes you fully aware of the error in context. However, it does stop the fluency, so some prefer to see the mistakes afterwards.
I personally think it should be both. Alternate methods between different speaking tasks and see how best you remember and internalize the language.
