When Japanese use “Yabai”?

※Sorry for my poor English😭

Yabai =ヤバい

"ヤバい(Yabai)"is an adjective, the word we often used when we want to emphasize something , and Japanese cannot live without it .

"ヤバい" was born 400 years ago, and the meaning of the word originally was dangerous.

We still use "ヤバい" in the meaning of dangerous, but now we use this word in much more various ways than it used to be.

So, today I searched a tweet including "ヤバい" on Twitter, and picked out some of them as follows.

①糖質無制限ダイエットの効果がヤバい
(とうしつむせいげん ダイエットの こうかが ヤバい!)

The effect of the unlimited carbohydrate diet is amazing!

(ヤバい、でんち きれる)

Oops, the battery runs out

③自重だけでやるより負荷がかかりまくるからキツさがヤバい('ω' )
(じじゅうだけで やる より ふかが かかりまくるから キツさが ヤバい)

It's much harder than doing it with my own weight ('ω')

④オタクたちにも本名で呼ばれてヤバい
(オタクたちにも ほんみょうで よばれて ヤバい)

It's scary to be called by nerds with your real names

ヤバい…悲しい…
(ヤバい・・・かなしい・・・)

So…sad…

⑥炭水化物を減らすと生活に必要なエネルギーがなくなってヤバいのでは?
(たんすいかぶつを へらすと せいかつに ひつような エネルギーが なくなって ヤバいのでは?)

Isn't it harmful to reduce carbohydrates because the energy required for life is lost?

⑦まーじでヤバい遅れ方してて草
