Why do you read books?
6 years ago “A book must be the axe for the frozen sea within us.”
― Franz Kafka
Books tell me things people around me can't tell me. Through the books they wrote I get to meet people I will never meet, and learn from them. I get to go to places I haven't been, and I get to hear my own thoughts and emotions written by someone who makes me say "that's what I feel; that's what I think", as if they were saying something that is inside me but doesn't know how to come out. And discover new things I would have never discovered by myself.
