I am spaniard, from Valencia city at the Mediterranean cost. I moved in Canada 5 years ago and started to teach Spanish. I got the ELE certificate validated by The Cervantes Institute as I actually enjoyed by teaching and decided to make it my future career. I discover I wanted to be a full time teacher when I moved to Poland and started teaching sporadically. After I came back to Spain I took a course on teaching skills and started to teach independently. And I loved it! The more I taught the more I liked. I still love teaching cause I understand my culture better and the way Spanish people think. I find that fascinating. To me, explaining why we would say things in a certain way because of our culture is the best bit.
Be sure you will always have contact with the real culture during our lessons.
I usually take a coaching approach. That means we will set goals and every week we will review what we've done so far and what we can do next. ¡Hola! Soy Verónica de León, Guanajuato, México, Ingeniera industrial y profesora de ELE con más de 5 años enseñando español online.
