I am a Spanish retired who wants to teach my mother tongue to others and meet new people. I would love to share my knowledge of Spanish with whoever wants to learn it. I was born in Spain but lived many years in Venezuela. I live now in Nigrán, north west of Spain. I am always eager to have good conversations in Spanish depending on the level of the student. I can adapt my lessons to the student requirements for them to either be more informal or grammar focused. I can teach students for all levels from beginners to advanced to children, teenagers or adults. I can provide exercises as homework when and as required. I am flexible for arranging the time for the lessons as long as they happen during the day from Monday to Sunday. I am already working as a community tutor in another platform and I have been teaching Spanish to many students in that platform that are very satisfied with my lessons. I have been teaching in this platform for almost a year now.

Beyond studies and experience (which you can read below), what makes a good language teacher? I have no doubts: enthusiasm, empathy, patience and sense of humor. Without these four attributes, any robot could be a better teacher than me, am I right? I studied a master's degree at University of Barcelona in 2013 and another course at International House in 2014 to specialize as a teacher of Spanish as a second language. My passion for teaching hasn't done anything else but increasing. I love helping people all over the world to learn the language and to understand my culture.
