Hola.

In recent years I have worked as a language teacher in northern Spain. My job duties there included designing intensive Spanish courses for beginners’, intermediate and advanced levels, as well as teaching both on-site and remotely. This constant interest has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning, such as the materials used by the Cervantes Institute and the most renowned publications and blogs in the field of language teaching. Most particularly, I have made extensive use of audiovisuals and creative writing activities in order to develop consistent, effective Spanish courses.
As an on-line teacher, I have steadily used different technology applications in language learning. My tasks as a teacher included setting homework and giving feedback to my students, according to their needs, on a regular basis, as well as keeping accurate register of their attendance and progress.
Graduated in Hispanic Philology an...

Hi there!
My name is Hugo, I am from Vigo (Spain) and I would love to share my time and my knowledge with all of you. Languages are my life, I love to learn, study and teach them.
My background is full of different activities, as engineering, hostel management or server, living in several countries (Portugal, Brazil, Canada, etc). So, after all my trips and experiences my path brought me here, to the educational and teaching world. I had always passion teaching languages, I started in my Erasmus year (2009) in Budapest teaching Spanish on-line just for fun and then I was getting more and more practical experience in a small school in Brazil, then in Canada for a long time, until I decided to become a teacher in 2018.
I developed my system during all this years, first from my personal experience and the students experience and then from all the books about pedagogics and finally from my ELE course (Español como Lengua Extranjera or Spanish as a Foreign Language). The system is comp...

I am a Spanish retired who wants to teach my mother tongue to others and meet new people. I would love to share my knowledge of Spanish with whoever wants to learn it.
I was born in Spain but lived many years in Venezuela. I live now in Nigrán, north west of Spain. I am always eager to have good conversations in Spanish depending on the level of the student. I can adapt my lessons to the student requirements for them to either be more informal or grammar focused. I can teach students for all levels from beginners to advanced to children, teenagers or adults. I can provide exercises as homework when and as required. I am flexible for arranging the time for the lessons as long as they happen during the day from Monday to Sunday.
I am already working as a community tutor in another platform and I have been teaching Spanish to many students in that platform that are very satisfied with my lessons. I have been teaching in this platform for almost a year now.

Hi! My name is Martina and I am from Valencia (Spain). I lived in Mainz and Berlin (Germany) for two years and right now I'm living in Belgrade (Serbia). I hold BA in Philosophy and MA in Bioethics and both reflect hugely on ways I understand and interpret the world around me, besides that in more formal way – part of my academic curriculum was CAP (pedagogical aptitude) which certifies me to be a teacher.
I have been teaching different subjects (not only Spanish for foreigners) for more than 8 years now and I taught almost all demographic groups. Teaching is my passion and I learn and strive to be better in it every day. My students are my teachers and I learn from them (and will from you in near future), each individual has been a great gift. By interacting through teaching-learning experience we are becoming part of each other’s experiences. The same goes for travelling, my other passion, which brings me joy of learning diverse perceptions, ways people live and cultures.

Hi! My name is Carmen, and I'm a Spanish teacher. Now the obvious things are out of the way, here are some things you may not know. My name means 'poem' in Latin, and I kind of like that. I was born in Granada, a cute city in the south of Spain where Carmen means 'big house with garden'. There, I graduated in philosophy, and learnt there is a word in my language to name the colour clouds turn at sunset. Amazed by that, I moved to Madrid to study arts and, trying to see as many of those clouds as possible, travelled a lot. I ended up in Boston, Massachusetts, where I became a Spanish teacher so I could discuss the details of that colour with everyone (I should add that we discussed other things, too). Back in Madrid, I decided I wanted to know how a human learns to use colours that don't exist in his or her mother tongue, and got a master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Then I moved to London, where I continued my cloud research for a good while (English skies oft...
