My name is Santa, and I have been working as a certified teacher of Italian for the last five years. I come from the south of Italy but I have lived in several Italian cities like Naples, Milan, Rome, and Padua. I also lived in Holland for almost 3 years where I worked as an Italian teacher.
After my Master’s degree in Philosophy, I soon realized that teaching (presenting & promoting my culture) was my life's passion. Therefore, I decided to obtain the “Ditals” certificate for teaching Italian to foreigners and started teaching my native language.
I love my job because it allows me to be in contact with people from different backgrounds and compare our different cultures. Because of this, during our lessons, I’ll offer you a pleasant and direct way to share, create various materials, use audio-video, and learn the Italian culture. I will provide you with the necessary basic tools you require to speak and use Italian in a variety of contexts within a short period of time. So, not only items about the language itself but also help your 'Italian Experience' in a varied and fun way.
My method focuses on oral skills, listening and speaking, providing space for you to speak as much as possible in an open and guided environment. The Italian lessons are tailor-made to your needs, skills and appropriate level, in accordance with your professions and interests.
The beginners level course aims at helping you to learn Italian in an effective, relaxed way, so that you can use it practically and immediately right from the start.
We will focus on the basic communication skills and language needed for “real-life” communication. I will allow you to learn at your own pace, in a comfortable and friendly context.
For advanced students or for people who have already achieved a working knowledge of Italian, our interactive, personalized and enjoyable lessons will meet your expectations. Together we will find out where in the Italian language your difficulties are. Then the immersive language experience will have clear objectives that contribute to your overall progress and will bring you closer to your individual language goals.
Furthermore, I would like to invite you to join me in the study of Italian art, history, and literature.
