Hello! I'm Jerry, an experienced American English teacher with a Biology degree, teaching experience in the United States and internationally, and thousands of online lessons with students from around the world.
I've taught more than 4,000 lessons to more than 1,600 students on Verbling, with a 4.9/5 rating, 98% attendance rate, and an average of 9 lessons per student.
That experience has taught me something important: students learn English best when lessons are connected to their real interests, goals, and lives.

One thing that makes my lessons different is my background in biology and science.
I have studied and taught subjects including biology, chemistry, molecular biology, evolution, ecology, marine science, and animal behavior.

During our lessons, I listen carefully to how you communicate, identify the areas that are holding you back, and give you practical corrections and exercises.

I encourage questions and conversation, and I adapt lessons to your level and personality.
