Hello!! Are you looking for a talented and friendly English teacher? My name is Seth, and I am originally from New York City. I am CELTA trained and have been working in Latin America as a professional ESL teacher since 2009, and currently live in Colombia where I have taught at university for over four years. I teach General and Business English, and also have broad experience with TOEFL and IELTS Exam Tutoring, Resumé/CV and other Document Copy-editing, Pronunciation Coaching, Conversation Practice and Interview Preparation. Earlier in my career I worked in digital design and programming, so I am particularly versed in the language of IT.
Over the years, I have worked with students at all levels (A1-C2), of all different ages and from different backgrounds. I am currently studying to improve my Spanish (B2) and beginning to learn Portuguese (A1), so I understand the difficulties and frustrations of, not only learning a new language, but also finding the time in a busy schedule to study. I am confident that you will benefit from my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm.
I have a deep love for languages and teaching, and will happily model our classes to fit your particular preferences and requirements. I enjoy the process of aiding students as they gain mastery over the English language and feel personal satisfaction when I see them gain confidence and skill in its use. I am proud of my track record of successfully helping students accomplish their English language learning goals.
