Hi! My name is Zoia. I am from Syria and I am studying International Relations at the University of British Columbia. One of the reasons why I am pursuing this major is that I am fascinated by different cultures and their interactions. There is a strong and complex connection between the language and the culture it is used in which led me to develop a passion for languages since I was young, hence I learned English, Spanish and Russian.
